Irlocon's Yukon Bandit-Nemo, Can. CD, Am CDX, TDI
"The Big Oaf"
Jan 29, 1982 - Feb 20, 1996

I'm Not Here
Don't stand by my grave and weep
For I'm not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamonds glint on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
When you awaken in morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circle flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there, I did not die.
"His registered name was Irlocon's Yukon Bandit-Nemo, Am. CDX,
Can CD. He was my first dog to earn a CD, then followed with his
CDX. He never was a flashy worker, nor a high scorer - every
score he earned was either 185 or 185 1/2, (except his one 190 in
Open!) but he was a consistent, happy worker. He was also a
clown, often happy to jog around the obedience ring, (without
me!) Bandit enjoyed working as a therapy dog. He delighted in
getting loose at one nursing home, running into the same room
each time (at the very far end of the building) scaring the same
woman into yelling "AH! There's a wolf in my room, someone help
me" By the time I got there, he was grinning from ear to ear!"

" Always mischevious, often frustrating, he taught me alot.
Patience, caring, and trust to name a few. Please join me in
remembering our special friends of the past and what they mean to
us."
