My Chelsea was a rescue, and deserved every bit of the love he commanded from my family. He loved to run, woo, and bark out orders. He had telling us what to do down to an art. Our Chelsea was quite the character! His vision is restored now that's he's North of Rainbow Bridge, and I know he looks down on us. We will miss him forever. His 5 months with us could never have been enough.
He has made his way across the rainbow bridge having known he was not a possession but a family member and well loved. He will wear his silver harness proudly and pull with the best of them. And now he can see so he doesn't bump into the stars.
Editors Note:
I didn't know Chelsea personally, just what I had read on Sibernet-L.
However, I was truly touched when he passed that I wrote a eulogy to the
list. I believe that it is one of my best, and deserves to be on his
page.
Godspeed, Chelsea. The small world that was yours was a better place while you graced the presence of those that loved you. Now you will but grace their hearts, while touching the hearts of others. Wear that silver harness proudly, reaching beyond your earthly limitations and not bump, but _touch_ those stars:
